EU & NO EU ID DRIVEN LICENCE HOW TO CONVERT

Converting a foreign driver's license involves replacing the driving document with an Italian one. Let's see what needs to be done to correct an EU and non-EU driver's license. 

CONVERSION OF EU ID DRIVER LICENSE

The procedure is intended for drivers holding a license issued by a state of the European Union or the European Economic Area who obtain a registered or ordinary residence in Italy.
Driving licenses issued by states belonging to the European Union or the European Economic Area are equivalent to Italian licenses.
Those with an EU driver's license with the expiration date provided by European Union rules (Art. 7 paragraph 2 of Directive 2006/126/EEC) can drive regularly until the expiration date.
Converting the foreign license to an Office of Civil Motorization is necessary at the end of the validity period. After conversion, the foreign document is withdrawn and returned to the state that issued it.
On the other hand, those who have an EU driver's license with no expiration date must convert the foreign permit after two years 
This obligation also applies to those who, in Italy, must undergo a driver's license review.

If the license is expiring, has expired in validity, has no expiration date, or is valid beyond what is required by EU regulations:
photocopy of the receipt of the examination for psychophysical fitness issued by a licensed physician, with a date not earlier than three months if the examination is carried out by a monocratic physician, not earlier than six months if it is carried out by a local medical commission: documentation and payments for the medical examination
if there is NO obligation to conduct the medical examination for psychophysical fitness:
Two identical passport-size photographs, one of which is notarized;
valid foreign driver's license in original (in vision) and complete double-sided photocopy
Identification document in original and photocopy
Social security number in original and photocopy
If the license has expired, it is always possible to apply for conversion, enclosing the medical certificate and knowing that it may be necessary to verify the ownership of the license and the fact that it is not subject to measures.
